Dr. Jaclyn Pease has held a passion and motivation to help others from an early age and pursued education in clinical and forensic psychology. She received her doctorate of psychology from Alliant International University. Dr. Pease opened Capitol Psychological Assessment, Inc. in 2019 with dedication to providing clients with understanding, clarity, and support. Dr. Pease holds expertise in psychological assessment, more specifically providing clarity in differential diagnosis of Autism, ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma disorders, and personality disorders. She holds expertise in providing individual therapy using evidenced-based practices of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Dr. Pease is a licensed clinical forensic psychologist in California (PSY29768) with educational background and expertise in psychological evaluation, test administration and interpretation, diagnostic clarification, and neurodivergence. Additionally, she holds specialities in conducting pre-employment evaluations for law enforcement candidates, risk assessment, worker’s compensation, suicide prevention, crisis de-escalation, program evaluation and development, and forensic report writing.

Jonathan Elder, M.A.
Jonathan is a fourth-year doctoral student in clinical psychology at Alliant International University. Jonathan has spent time administering intellectual and personality assessments across multiple settings and various populations. Jonathan has experience and passion for working with neurodivergence, having administered assessments across a range of neurodivergent groups in schools and in private settings. Jonathan strives to create a safe and comfortable environment for clients, leading with compassion and understanding and developing a teamwork mindset. Jonathan knows the importance of creating trusting relationships and working collaboratively. Additionally, he strives to understand the client as a whole person, using context and background to inform testing decisions.
